Huawei recently issued an internal report addressing violations in the recruitment of outsourced employees at its Chengdu branch010 Archives revealing that 72 Huawei employees and 19 non-employees were involved in corruption. These violations included arranging and participating in proxy exams, as well as disclosing assessment questions to candidates. Several Huawei employees profited by selling the company’s information assets, which severely violated Huawei’s employee conduct guidelines and relevant business management requirements, according to the internal report. After investigation, Huawei decided to dismiss the involved personnel, require them to return the illegal profits, and compensate the company for its losses. [GameLook, in Chinese]
